A quick belly update

(Can you tell I'm tired?)
I know it has been a while since I added anything to this blog but honestly I have had no desire to blog. I thought I would do a quick update on my belly and how things have been going...

The last update was when we found out we were having a girl! I have had numerous ultrasounds since then (18 weeks) after having a few issues. Nothing too serious; I have just been taking it easy since 20 weeks. I was on bed rest for a few weeks but finally went back to work. Other than my back hurting me daily I'm feeling pretty good. My belly has been growing and learning to get out of bed has been quite the challenge these days. Being pregnant is definitely not easy on the body but totally worth it :)
I am now 25 weeks and counting down the days until our little lady arrives. We have ordered her nursery furniture but it won't be delivered until the end of July...so we are still waiting to get her room done. I can't wait to see the finished product. My Mom is coming next month and she will be making the curtains for her room. It will be nice to have her here as well as my sister in law, Erica and Carter. Unfortunately, my brother will not make it out here until the baby arrives. I can't wait to see him!
I do have some more ultrasound pictures to scan but since we bought new Apple computers I have not hooked mine to the scanner--lack of energy! I will get to it hopefully soon.
I hope to post again soon with some more photos of baby's room and my growing belly!

It's a GIRL!!!

We can't believe it but we had our 2nd trimester ultrasound yesterday and they said we are having a GIRL!! Jerry and I are over the moon happy that we got to see her for a little while yesterday. It was so amazing to see her moving around. Her little hands, arms, legs, head and everything else were so precious. We really feel blessed that everything seemed perfect and she is growing right on schedule. The tech said she weighed 8oz.! Unbelievable. She is moving a lot more now and feeling her is so incredibly neat. Being pregnant gets more exciting as the days go on!

I will keep updating as we progress with her room and such. Now all the fun stuff begins!

17 weeks along :)
At Dove Mountain (Marana, AZ) enjoying the breathtaking views and fresh air.

Happy Anniversary to us! We went to the Ritz Carlton in Marana for our Anniversary. What a weekend.

1 whole year has passed since we have been married. It's seems like yesterday that I married the most wonderful guy I could find. He is perfect for me and makes me laugh and smile each day. People always say the first year is the hardest, but for us it was the easiest. I feel blessed to call him my hubby. He never strays from what is important and always makes me feel loved. I know in my heart that he will be the best Daddy to our chldren and I am thankful that I have such faith in him. It's so fun to be sharing every moment of this life together and I look forward to many more years of unconditional love, joy and adventure.

And baby makes 3!

Jerry and I are expecting our first little one this October! We found out in late January and wanted to make it through the first trimester before we announced to the world. Luckily, I wasn't too sick during the first few months, just had some nausea and major fatigue for a few weeks. I feel blessed to say that this pregnancy has been so easy. I for sure thought I would be stuck with awful morning sickness and food aversions.

We have had a few ultrasounds in the past few weeks where we saw the baby moving around. I swear it is a boy and will be shocked if we are having a girl. I am currently 16+ weeks and have my anatomy ultrasound on May 4th! Once we find out if we are team BLUE or PINK, all the fun shopping will begin. I am so excited to decorate the nursery and make it as comfy and cute as possible.

We have so much to be thankful for and words cannot express how blessed we have been in the past year.

Stay tuned for more pictures and updates as the months go on....

Cheers to a new year

Jerry and I rang in the new year at home for a change and I really enjoyed it. We have many hopes for the new year and can't wait to see what 2010 brings us. Here's to hoping that we are more blessed this year than in years past....

Happy New Year to everyone! Hooray for a new decade :)

Day with Erock

Jerry and I watched Erick, our nephew, today while his parents went Christmas shopping. We started with breakfast at the Hangar Cafe then Jerry remembered that Travis Pastrana was in Gilbert doing autographs so we stopped by. He was at the new Subaru dealership where there was a rally car show. We decided to go ahead and get in line for an autograph but got stopped at the door while Travis took a lunch break...after 2 hours waiting we got what we wanted and even scored a picture with him. I have to admit that I did not really know who he was until we stopped at the event. I'm glad we did because Erick was happy to have gotten an autograph!! It was a fun day :)

A little update...

It's been a while since I have updated my blog. We really have not been up to too much over the past 2 months. The weather has finally turned pleasant and the Holiday's are finally here. Our Thanksgiving was very quiet. Jerry and I went to his brother's for a mid afternoon turkey dinner. It was nice to visit with the family and eat some yummy food. The Broncos were on TV too, so I enjoyed watching the game as well. I really missed having my family here this year even though they haven't been here in the recent years past. Maybe next year will bring us together for the Holiday's; one can only hope :)

Jerry and I decorated the house for Christmas over Thanksgiving weekend. The house is filled with Christmas cheer which is enjoyable to come home to after work each day. The lights are up on the house too. It is so beautiful to drive through the streets this time of year and see the decorations bursting out from so many homes. Christmas sure has a whole new meaning as I have gotten older. It's not about the presents received but rather the laughter and joy I get from being with Jerry and loving our new life together. We have so much to look forward to in the years to come and hopefully next year will bring new beginnings and happy endings. This year has been filled with lots to be thankful for but has also brought some enduring times. I believe 2010 will be a big year for us in so many ways and look forward to every moment!
